Guess who has got Serial Experiments Lain Collector’s Edition for Christmas. ♥

I’m in love with Lain, with the anime, the… Everything. Even though the anime almost made me kill myself. But it was because of my situation. I really love it.

This edition have the complete anime, a DVD with extras, and the CD Cyberia Mix with the OST. Also a manga made by Yoshitoshi ABe, a litograph, and a book with illustrations, characters design and episodes guide.

Oh, the box is a Navi, as you can see. :3

The identity of a company, specially a web service, depends too much of its website layout. We don’t have to see logos or typography in order to indentify the company, sometimes just we need colors and position. That’s why I merge the website layout with the artistic movement: De stijl.

La identidad de una empresa especialmente de un servicio de internet, depende bastante del layout de su página web. No tenemos que ver logos o letras para identificar la empresa, sólo colores y la posición en la que se encuentran. Por eso quise combinar el layout de páginas web con el movimiento de arte De Stijl.

This is my first art project this semester. It’s a collage for Digital Arts II. It was not made digitally but for the 2nd part of the project we scanned it in and took it apart and made a new collage. 

The images are from several magazines. All those roundish objects to the middle left of the picture are gum. The magazine article said an artist (I can’t recall his name) walked around painting tiny pictures on dried gum he saw on the ground. Pretty neat. :D
